Breath Easy Again: Specialized Car Mold Removal in Vancouver, BC
Don’t let damp weather ruin your interior. Our high-temperature steam technology penetrates deep into surfaces to eliminate spores and odors at the source. If you’re searching for car detailing near me that prioritizes your health and your car’s value, you’ve found it.
"Tired of the 'Splash and Dash'?"
We’ve seen it all: greasy dashboards, soaking wet carpets, and ‘air fresheners’ used to hide mold. At Steam Tech Auto Spa, we don’t just move the dirt around—we evaporate it. Our specialized steam technology offers a level of precision and sanitation that traditional shops simply can’t match. If you’ve been let down by another detailer, our Spring Giveaway is your chance to see what real Vancouver car care looks like.”
Most detailers rely on heavy chemical fragrances or “new car” sprays to hide odors.
The Letdown: Two days later, the “perfume” fades, and the original smell of old food, cigarettes, or dampness returns.
The Steam Tech Benefit: Our Vapor Refresh doesn’t hide odors; it kills the bacteria and mold spores causing them. We use high-temperature steam to neutralize smells at the molecular level, leaving your car truly clean, not just “scented.”
In a rainy climate like Vancouver, many shops use “extraction” methods that leave carpets and seats damp for days.
The Letdown: If the car isn’t dried perfectly, that moisture turns into a breeding ground for mold and a musty “wet dog” smell.
The Steam Tech Benefit: Steam uses 95% less water than traditional pressure washing or extraction. We provide expert car mold removal that eliminates existing spores without adding the excess moisture that creates new ones.
Many “detailing near you” services focus only on what you can see at a glance.
The Letdown: You get your car back and it looks shiny, but there’s still dust in the air vents, crumbs in the seat tracks, and grime in the cup holders. They use greasy “dressings” to make the plastic look shiny, which eventually just attracts more dust.
The Steam Tech Benefit: Steam is a gas—it reaches where brushes and rags cannot. We blast grime out of every crevice, vent, and rail, providing a deep-level sanitize that feels (and smells) like a factory-reset for your interior.
Budget detailers often use “all-purpose cleaners” that are loaded with harsh degreasers and toxic chemicals.
The Letdown: You’re left with a chemical headache, and your kids or pets are touching surfaces covered in soapy residue.
The Steam Tech Benefit: Because we use the power of heat and vapor, we drastically reduce the need for harsh chemicals. It’s the safest, most eco-friendly way to clean, ensuring your car is a healthy environment for your family.

Here are some reviews we dug up from other Car detailing near me.
If I could give this company a 0 star I would. I had the worst experience with this service. I had an interior detail with ozone completed. The reason I paid extra for the ozone was because food spilled on the seats of the vehicle and the odor was strong. When the job was completed, the vehicle smelled like a dirty wet rag that was left outside in the sun for days. I gave it a couple of weeks thinking it might be the ozone chemical. We were instructed by **** to leave our windows and moonroof open, however, this did not help. ****r came back and did another job where he left this machine on and sprayed a bunch of chemicals on our seats and asked us to turn on the machine every now and then. He left it with us for the whole day and didn’t come back until later in the evening to pick up his equipment. Unfortunately the car now smells like strong chemicals that causes me headaches and is just unbearable +6 months later. We contacted him a month after the 2nd attempt was completed to inquire about the smell and he blew it out of the context stating we were the worst clients he’s had, we wanted to make his life miserable and so forth. I didn’t want to give him a bad review but I don’t think anyone deserves to go through what we went through and pay for a job that needs to get redone and get accused for making him miserable and racist and a whole bunch of things that were irrelevant to the problem. **** offered us a refund after the first attempt, but asked us to give him another chance. Bad mistake!

Payed for a full detail, he didn’t clean the trunk and said he would finish the headliner another day. He kept giving excuses and cancelling appointments to finish the job, then he just started avoiding calls altogether.

I ordered their most expensive package for my rav4 and booked but Harman really didn't finish the job. He missed a bunch of the things I supposedly paid for, including cleaning my windows. I texted him after he left and he said he would come back and finish the job a couple days later. I call him a couple days later, he tells me he's coming at a certain time but then no-shows, ghosts me on texts and didn't answer his phone.
Making matters worse, whatever cleaner/polish he used on the interior of my car left little black dots on my seats and dash that i seem to have trouble washing away.

got the Supreme packaged paid 260, it was cleaner than before no doubt but lots of details were missed. Under the seats in the van were no vacuumed or cleaned, back seat cupholder had grime in it afterwards. cleanliness doesn't reflect what we paid but the cleaners were on time and came to us

I was very satisfied with the cleanliness of my car, however I’m extremely dissatisfied with the fact that they think it’s perfectly fine to idle the clients car for as long as they want without notifying you. They have no method for drying your car other than to idle it with the heat on full blast. I went in with half a tank and they returned it to me with not even the reserve fuel left. I’m less annoyed about the cost of the gas than the wear and tear from idling for so many hours on end. You simply cannot burn half a tank of gas in a hybrid car without idling it for at least 4, maybe even 6+ hours. I did not consent to this. Tbh I would have seeked treatment elsewhere had I known they would do this. Sorry to leave a 1 star review, but I asked one of the guys who worked on my car how long they let it idle and he said about an hour. That is a lie. You would think they would have any other method for drying the car. This is seriously polluting as well.

I booked a full interior cleaning, including headliner shampoo and ozone treatment — this was clearly written in the booking confirmation email along with the total price. But the job wasn’t completed. The detailer left before finishing and later claimed the headliner wasn’t ordered, saying it was probably a mistake. He also said the interior needed to dry before running the ozone machine and promised to come back the next day to finish the job. I gave him the benefit of the doubt.
During the initial service, I had to point out several missed spots. After checking the car again later, I noticed even more — but figured he would take care of them when he returned. He never did. He stopped responding to messages and calls.
The glove box wasn’t cleaned at all, and the overall interior looked like it had only been half done. This was just before a planned road trip, so I had to find someone else at the last minute to finish what he left behind.
